Advestra advises Matterhorn Telecom on the financing for the acquisition of Monaco Telecom

Advestra advised Matterhorn Telecom, the parent company of Swiss telecommunications provider Salt Mobile, on the financing supporting its acquisition of a controlling interest in Monaco Telecom. The financing included an offering of EUR 550 million senior secured notes due 2030 and a new EUR 130 million term loan facility under the company’s existing senior facilities agreement.

Monaco Telecom is the leading telecommunications provider in the Principality of Monaco and a key operator in Malta and Cyprus through Epic.

Advestra acted as Swiss legal counsel to Salt Mobile. The team included Sandro Fehlmann, Fabian Loretan, Jan-Nicklas Bentz and Jana Wildberger (all Capital Markets) as well as Céline Martin (Tax).
