Advestra advises the financing sources on Advent’s acquisition of u-blox

ZI Zenith S.à r.l., a European indirect subsidiary of funds managed and advised by Advent International, L.P., has acquired u-blox Holding AG by way of a public tender offer.

u-blox is a global leader in critical connectivity and positioning technologies. Under Advent’s ownership, the company is expected to accelerate growth, and capture rising demand in the automotive and industrial end-markets, as well as adjacent segments.

Advestra acted as Swiss legal counsel to the financing sources. The team included Alexander von Jeinsen, Andreas Hinsen und Annina Hammer (all Finance and M&A) as well as Céline Martin (Tax).
